Investing in reception according to EU standards instead of deterrence measures only. Europe must move away from a fortress approach to a reception approach designed to address the needs and specific vulnerabilities of people arriving at its borders, in particular their medical and mental health needs. Putting an end to acts of violence and abuse from state authorities. People need safe channels to seek asylum and migrate. #SafePassage

Kunduz was previously considered one of the more stable provinces affected by the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan. Fighting has increased significantly in the northern province, however, since 2014. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides surgical care for trauma patients, including 7-year old Feroz and his father. They were on their way to the market when they were hit by a bomb blast. They travelled more than 62 miles (100 km) to MSF's hospital, the only facility able to treat their injuries in their region.

It all started with a caravan and a big top. Under the big top men and animals share their uncertain and laborious destinies. We are talking about the most ancient show: the circus. And circus means Togni, one of the most important and log-lived dynasties in Europe. Through the unique footage of the personal archive of the family (from 8mm and Super8 to VHS and Mini DVD) Circle draws a circular tale, like the arena of the wild beasts and the seasons of life.A fairy tale in reverse that has as protagonists a tamer in a cage and dancer on a horse.
A legendary love story the one between Darix and Fiorenza, able to cause a valorous stock. From the epic of the post war period, with the circus making landfall in Egypt like a newly Noah’s Ark, to the successes of the economical boom, that culminates with the stoke in Milan. From the elegy for the fall of the forefather Darix to the doubts for the succession to the throne, from the tragedy for the the death of the daughter Danila to the second-birth under the lights of Montecarlo guided by Livio and Davio.
Circle, an heroic and exhausting journey through cities and continents, triumphs and falls, that ferries the long procession of travellers from a mythical past to a difficult present, through an uncertain future. A risky route marked by doubts: The Circus, dream or utopia? And its survival, an obligation or recklessness?

For 30 years now Silvio Berlusconi has been influencing Italian society through his TV stations. For the last 15 years he has dominated the political scene. Despite conflicts of interest, criminal proceedings, innumerable policy blunders, his popularity in Italy is still quite high. How is this possible. Against the background of upcoming regional elections, this film is a snapshot of the mood in the country. It paints a portrait of Berlusconi’s supporters and of some those demanding his resignation.
